Classical Indian Violin Concert

SPIC MACAY@KU. (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth) Lawrence organized yet another musical evening on 16th September 2011 with a violin concert of  Purnaprajna Bangere, Master of the Indian Classical Violin at Swarthout Recital Hall in University of Kansas.
The stage is set for the artists.

Super Harvest Moon 2010

The harvest moon is the full moon at around the autumnal equinox. When the night of the harvest moon coincides with the night of the equinox, it is called a "Super Harvest Moon." We experienced Super Harvest Moon on 22nd September 2010 night. Here are few pictures of the Super Harvest Moon taken from Lawrence.

Game Day : Football

Kansas football home opener, against Northern Colorado on September 5th, 2009.

A typical game day in Kansas University Campus.
Hours before the game the Jayhalk fans start going towards the Memorial Stadium in groups.

Tailgaters gather in the KU Campus from noon for an evening game.

They have their own pass time kits with them.

Fans getting inside the Memorial Stadium.

Teams return after the Warm ups.


The stadium is full with Crimson and Blue

KU Band performs before the game.

Jayhalks enter the field for the game, all charged up.


The crowd greets them with a roar.

All settled and ready for the game to start.


Fans all eager to watch.

and the action begins.... in presence of more than 50,ooo fans.
